*My system info:*
- OS Platform and Distribution (e.g., Linux Ubuntu 16.04): Linux Ubuntu
16.04.2
- Theano installed: via conda
- Theano version:'0.9.0.dev-c697eeab84e5b8a74908da654b66ec9eca4f1291'
- Python version: 2.7
- cuDNN version: 6.0.21
- CUDA compilation tools, release: 8.0, V8.0.61
- GPU model and memory: GeForce GTX Titan X
- Compiler: gcc version 5.4.0

*Problem:*
Fresh install of cuda, cudnn, and theano as per docs
<http://deeplearning.net/software/theano/updating.html#updating>. I get the
following error message when I try importing theano. I know there are a
multitude of posts for this error message, but none have been of any help.
Any guidance would be *greatly* appreciated!

*Error produced:*

We do not support anymore that version of Theano. Try Theano 1.0rc1:
